They make the bats and spiders look scarier... the witches look nastier.... Halloween would never be the same without these colors! I was SO looking forward to finding them again. To top it off, they were on sale at Michael's this week!
The black is really black. You can see the difference between a dark chocolate melt and this one. Another good thing about it is that at Easter, it is also the perfect color to blend with white melts to make grey. I have a 3-D mouse mold that ended up PERFECT with the shade of grey I was able to make. I will definitely stock up this year.
So that's what Candy Melts are ! Never saw them around here. There is this super easy recipe i saw in my old Parents Magazine - take purple candy melts, melt them, dip half of a long pretzel stick in it, then cover with sprinkles, & share. Hard to explain, but they looked real good in the 'zine.
